Curtis Sandhu

Curtis is the founder of Everest Health Group and a practicing kinesiologist. He has been a practicing member since 2019 and is a University of the Fraser Valley graduate. He excelled in his studies there and was awarded four times on the Deans List for exceptional grades. Curtis wanted to pursue a Kinesiology degree because of his passion for sports and his desire to help others. He sustained an injury when he broke his ankle when he was just 16 years old playing hockey and with the help of an experienced rehabilitation team, he was able to come back fully recovered quicker than initially expected. This incited interest in Curtis and intrigued him about the benefits and possibilities of rehabilitation. Furthermore, the experience he had with that certain team was very positive, and it created a passion for him to help others. This passion branched out to hockey as well, as Curtis has been coaching with Abbotsford Minor Hockey since 2016. He loves to help educate younger players with the importance of health and physical education and does his utmost to guide them on a path to be better hockey players and better citizens in general. In his spare time, Curtis enjoys spending time with his daughter Mia and his family and friends. He likes to help out on the family farm and still plays hockey himself.
